Privacy Policy
ThinkRight Invoice · Think Right Inc. · Last updated: September 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ThinkRight Invoice ("ThinkRight Invoice," "we," "us," or "our"), a software service provided by Think Right Inc., collects, uses, stores, protects, and shares information when businesses use our invoicing, quoting, expense, email, payment, and related software features.
1. Information we collect
Depending on the features you use, we may collect information that you or your business provides, including account and profile information, company details, customer contact information, invoices, quotes, services, expenses, uploaded receipts or documents, payment status and transaction references, support communications, and technical information needed to operate and secure the service.
2. Google user data and Gmail access
ThinkRight Invoice offers an optional Google connection so an authenticated business user can send invoices, quotes, payment reminders, and user-initiated test emails from the user's own Gmail or Google Workspace mailbox. For this feature, the application requests the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send scope, which permits sending email on the user's behalf.
ThinkRight Invoice does not use this permission to read, download, modify, delete, search, or build a database of the user's Gmail messages. We use Google authorization information only to authenticate the connected account and perform the email-sending function requested by the user. OAuth access and refresh tokens needed to maintain the connection are stored by the service and are encrypted at rest by the application.
Google user data obtained through Google Workspace scopes is used only to provide or improve the user-facing functionality that requested the data. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, use it to determine creditworthiness, or use it to train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
ThinkRight Invoice's use and transfer of information received from Google Workspace APIs adheres to the Google User Data and Developer Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
3. How we use information
- Provide and maintain invoicing, quoting, customer, expense, reporting, receipt-processing, email, and payment features.
- Authenticate users, maintain company workspaces, and secure accounts.
- Send communications or documents when a user requests or configures that action.
- Process subscription and customer-payment workflows and reconcile payment status.
- Provide support, troubleshoot problems, prevent abuse, and improve reliability and user-facing features.
- Meet legal, accounting, security, and regulatory obligations where applicable.
4. AI and document-processing features
When a user chooses receipt scanning or other AI-assisted document features, the submitted content may be processed by configured service providers solely to provide the requested extraction or assistance. Users should review generated results before saving them. Google Workspace data obtained through Gmail authorization is not used to train generalized AI models.
5. Payments
ThinkRight Invoice may integrate with payment and billing providers such as Stripe, Helcim, and Clover. Payment providers process payment-card or banking information under their own privacy policies and security practices. ThinkRight Invoice may retain payment status, provider identifiers, transaction references, amounts, and related reconciliation information needed to provide the service, but the application is not intended to store full payment-card numbers.
6. Service providers and sharing
We may share information with service providers only as reasonably necessary to operate requested features, such as cloud hosting, authentication and email delivery, document processing, subscriptions, and payment processing. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the security and rights of users or the service, or as part of a business transaction subject to applicable legal requirements. We do not sell personal information or Google user data to data brokers or advertisers.
7. Data storage and security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. Sensitive OAuth credentials used by connected email and payment integrations are encrypted by the application where implemented. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, and users are responsible for protecting their account credentials and authorized devices.
8. Retention and deletion
We retain account and business data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet contractual or legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. A user may disconnect a Google account from ThinkRight Invoice to stop future Gmail API access. Users can also revoke ThinkRight Invoice's Google access through their Google Account permissions. Requests concerning account data access or deletion can be sent to info@thinkrightinc.com. We will process valid requests subject to legal, security, backup, and record-retention requirements.
9. Your choices
Connecting Google, Microsoft, or a payment provider is optional unless a specific feature requires that provider. Users choose whether to connect an account and can disconnect supported integrations from the application. Users should provide customer information only when they have authority to use it for their business purposes.
10. Children's privacy
ThinkRight Invoice is a business software service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly design the service to collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service, integrations, or legal requirements change. The current version will be posted at this URL with its updated date.
